Dead Leaves Streaming Event on 9
Named looking for a fictitious prison in outer space, Dead Leaves displays an exciting new and uncharted dimension of Japanese animation presented in a eyepopping, vibrant and frantically paced action adventure film.
"We was going to build a new anime film which was differing and experimental, an item that pushed the envelope of Japanese animated popular culture," says Manga's CEO Marvin Gleicher. People are very excited to push out a this film on DVD this September."
Imaitoonz is a well-liked Tokyo based graphic artist who has got a highly diverse portfolio. He has been well known for creating original art for animation, character designs, arcade games, packaging, clothing and commercial spots for many of Japan's top companies including Suntory, Sega, Sony, Nike and Reebok. Imaitoonz and the associate Hiroyuki Imaishi came up with original character designs for Dead Leaves. Complimenting the film is definitely a pulse pounding electronica soundtrack from Yoshihiro Ike (Blood: a final Vampire.)
This extraordinary new anime film showcases a different model of animation featuring uncanny, fast and furious splitscreen action combined with the an incomparable color scheme and unconventional character designs. "If you can imagine what an abstract modern art accident would appear as if, let's say by mixing on the art of Peter Max, Andy Warhol, Peter Chung and Todd McFarlane, you'll have a thing that appears to be Dead Leaves!" jokes Kaoru Mfaume, Manga's director of acquisitions and producer for the film.
The history follows main characters Pandy and Retro like they awaken naked on the globe without recollection within their past. While incarcerated, they soon realize that Dead Leaves yet another topsecret cloning facility that could be occupied by villainous guards and deformed genetic experiments. Ultramanic chaos and hyperviolent bedlam result simply because they rescue their life from Dead Leaves with their fellow mutant inmates. In celebration of Manga Entertainment's 10th Anniversary this September, the Dead Leaves DVD release could be based on a summer long Manga marketing campaign which can include summer convention screenings and promotional giveaways, consumer print advertising and web events. Manga moreover teamed up with Japan's cult toy company Medicom Toys to have a Kubrick Dead Leaves toy line. Seek Dead Leaves to wow anime and animation fans everywhere.
